Hi Elyse, Those are icy-cold, airy bubbles of sap below the reflection of the window in the right-hand sap shed tank. By the way, the snow predictably slid off the roof onto the bank on the uphill side of the sugarhouse, blocking the light from the windows. I’m recalling the year we took bets on when we’d finally be able to see daylight again.
